The earth spoke to us as we sat with this beauty for about the same time as a DOCa Rioja Gran Reserva wine is in barrel. We love its textured edges reminiscent of tree bark and muted hues created through a slow multi glazing technique. Its beauty profoundly brings nature into the room where it sits infusing the space with a feeling of calm and other days well being. We found it to be just as radiant empty sitting still, as a vessel for sushi, or a tapas tray for cheese, chorizo, roasted red piquillo peppers, and beyond.
