First ascertain if it is a manufacturer defect or damage from transit. Take a photo and submit it to the shipping carrier if the damage is due to the shipping. If you think it may be a defect please submit the photo, and order number to customercare@riojaholistichome.com, however, please note all selections are inspected upon arrival to our warehouse in the USA and we will not ship for sale any piece that is may have a defect.

The wool blankets should be dry cleaned only. Given the anti microbial and anti bacterial properties of this natural fiber and that is it is naturally odor resistant less cleaning is necessary. We recommend shaking them out and/or hanging to refresh. 

Extra fine Merino wool should only be brushed with a natural soft bristle brush.  Brush down in one direction.

We recommend shaking the blanket and laying it on a flat surface to spread out. Thereafter, pinch and gather in a central area and  from there drape and fold in your preferred way. They will land beautifully. 

No, they are not oven safe.

They are microwave and dishwasher safe but due to their individual handmade creation we fully recommend handwashing with a mild soap and to store in the 100% cotton dust bag.

No, we do not recommend putting them on a grill.

We believe that glass is a much healthier vessel than plastic. Glass is inert. This vessel will preserve and increase the  wellness value of our 100% botanical blend body oils infused with essential oil.

Yes it is real wood.

The body oils can be used on both dry and wet skin. For wet skin we recommend first to pat dry the skin so it is damp instead of very wet.  This will help the absorption.

No they are not. Please also note the term fragrance on any product indicates a synthetic component. Rioja Holistic Home body oils are 100% botanical blends infused with essential oils, one with lavender and the other rosemary. Upon application, they have beautiful aromas that support wellness. Thereafter have a quick absorption rate and a light texture and are not meant to be used as a fragrance.
